A nightstand on casters goes where you need it, which in a loft bed setup means right beside whoever is sleeping on the bottom. This one rolls, holds a lamp and a book, and rolls back out of the way when the floor becomes a play space.

It is the mobile nightstand from Homelegance's Aerie youth collection, built to slide under or beside the Aerie twin loft. The drawer uses dovetail construction and rides on side roller glides, which is real cabinetmaking rather than staples, and the white finish matches the rest of the Aerie case pieces. Because it is sold on its own here, it also works as a rolling side table next to a daybed, a small desk companion in a dorm-style room, or a spare surface in a guest room that needs to move when the bed does.
