Michael Nicholas builds it in California on a kiln-dried hardwood frame with 8-gauge sinuous steel springs and high-density foam, wraps the cushions in Dacron so they hold their shape, and makes the seats reversible so wear evens out over the years. Coordinating accent pillows come with it. The chaise sits on the right as you face the piece, so check the right-hand wall of your living room, and measure your front door and any hallway turn, before you fall for it on the floor.
