Scandinavian restraint, American build. The Avondale fireplace console keeps its lines simple and lets the knotty alder do the talking under a charcoal stain, then adds an electric fireplace with remote-controlled heat and flame so the media wall does double duty on a cold night.

Legends Home handcrafts it in the USA from knotty alder solids and veneers with heavy distressing that gives the dark finish depth; the charcoal stain reads as a deep espresso brown rather than flat black. Three storage areas, two behind doors and one open, take components, games and remotes, and tempered safety glass fronts the firebox. It holds a very large television without overhang, so it works as the anchor of a family room or den. Pair it with the matching Avondale display case for a full media wall, and give it a wall with an outlet within reach.
