Description

The old iceboxes had heavy latching handles because they had to hold a seal. This cabinet borrows the look and skips the ice, putting nickel-finished steel pulls on a tall solid mango wood case built for a modern house. Three drawers handle the small things; framed doors with interior shelving hide the rest.

Jaipur Home joins it with traditional tongue-and-groove work and seals it in a water-resistant Sawan finish, a rustic natural wood tone that lets the grain show. At six feet tall on a three-foot footprint it gives you vertical storage without eating floor space, which makes it a fit for a narrow entry, a dining room corner, a pantry wall or a home office. Anchor it to the wall if there are climbers in the house.
