Most bookcases disappear into the wall. This one does not. The natural live edge of the wood stays on the shelves, so the piece reads as furniture rather than storage, and books, plants and framed photos look better against a surface with real grain and character. The natural finish keeps the wood light and warm, so the bookcase brightens a corner instead of darkening it, and it coordinates with the natural live edge dining and occasional pieces in the same family. Set it in a home office, a living room reading corner, a hallway that needs a landing spot, or a bedroom where the nightstand has run out of room.
