The problem with a chairside table is that the phone charger never reaches it. The Westport solves that by building USB charging into the top, so the cord runs to the wall once and stays there, and the phone lives where you actually sit.

Deep navy paint, a beadboard door panel and turned feet give it a cottage feel that softens a room full of upholstery. A drawer with a ring-pull handle takes the remotes and readers; the cabinet below takes the rest. Jofran builds it from acacia and veneer, and the narrow footprint is sized to slip beside a recliner or sofa arm without crowding the walkway. Use it as a nightstand in a guest room, or pair two flanking a sofa in a coastal or modern farmhouse living room.
