The West End ladder back side chair keeps things quiet and correct: a slim natural maple frame, clean horizontal rails across the back, and an ivory upholstered seat that softens the whole line without adding bulk.

Intercon builds it from select hardwoods, and the seat rides on sinuous springs under the cushion, so it holds up to daily use rather than just looking good in a photo. The pale natural maple finish keeps a small room feeling open, and the ivory fabric reads clean against the wood. It pairs with the West End trestle, spindle-leg, and butterfly-leaf tables in the same finish, or works around a round pedestal table in a breakfast nook.
